STRATEGIC ALLIANCE WITH CATLIN UK
I am pleased to announce that in future we will be providing D&O and PI liability cover through Catlin Insurance Company (UK) Ltd.
The move, which becomes effective from 1st July, is the biggest single development since our formation in 2003 and one which will act as a springboard to both increase Angel’s business and the breath of products we offer.
We are now able to increase the cover available for D&O to £10m and include options for entity and employment practices liability. Amongst the features of our new policies is no Insured vs Insured exclusion, broad extradition language and the automatic inclusion of a full six years run off coverage for retiring Directors. Of course, we will continue to be able to provide full coverage for Directors who work for Companies operating in the USA. From July there is a free legal helpline on our main programme. And starting in September a new bi-monthly newsletter exclusively for Directors which will be available free for Insured's who have a D&O policy with us.
The new partnership with Catlin also means for the first time we are now able to consider scheme business which requires Public and Employer’s liability as well as the professional lines to be underwritten. And with multiple product lines we finally utilise our technology to its full potential.
Our brand new website and broker portal is now fully operational which not only enables online quoting and binding but also provides your own dedicated personalised web page portal, enabling you to see and manage all of your Angel D&O and PI business securely directly from your desktop.
